March 18, 2009 – Dorothy Ursula Ignatia Charles of Mon Bijou died on March 14, at her residence. She was 84 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Margaret and Janie Charles; sons: Leslie Burton, Sam, Earl, Philip and Hubert Charles; grandchildren: Stephen, Leslie and Delia Burton King, Jessica Cox, Vernanda, Leona, Chris, Leo, Tauran, Geselle, Maria, Philto, Leando and Larry Charles, and Joey Ovesen; and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by daughters-in-law: Catherine, Mariana, Tessa, Michelle Victoria and Eleanor; sisters: Eslie Bellot, Ursula Shillingford, Margaret Warner and Eleanor Warner Gaye; brothers: John Warner, Vincent Maynard and Charles Maynard; caregiver, Dosia Christopher; very special friends: Dosia Christopher and Grace Julian; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, March 27, at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment follows at Kingshill Cemetery.
