March 18, 2009 – Veteran Lawrence Edwin Motta Sr. of Sunny Isle Housing died on March 12, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his daughters: Marion G., Monique M. and Myrta M. Motta; sons: Lawrence Jr., David W., Andre R., Robert W., Kenneth L. and Richard W. Motta; 29 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by daughters-in-law: Mable C. and Renee D. Motta; son-in-law, Steven Boyd; sisters: Dorothy Armstrong and Isabel Barbel; brother, Raymond La Motta; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and funeral services at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 20, at the Lord God of Saboath Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery, Veteran Section.
