Education Department Hosts More Community Forums

March 10, 2009 – Education Commissioner Dr. La Verne Terry will host the second series of "Expectations for Education" community forums during the month of March. The schedule is as follows:
· Tuesday, March 17, at the Charlotte Amalie High School in the Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium
· Tuesday, March 24, at the Julius E. Sprauve School on St. John
· Thursday, March 26, at the St. Croix Educational Complex Auditorium
Dr. Terry said, "This month's series of meetings will be led by our district superintendents and will address general concerns of the various communities in addition to presentations and discussions on nutrition, health and wellness in celebration of National Nutrition Month. A feature presentation in observance of Music in our Schools Month will also occur.
