St. Croix Landmarks Society to Hold Starving Artists Day

The St. Croix Landmarks Society will hold its 21st annual Starving Artists Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday, March 22, at Whim Museum in Frederiksted. The spring event will showcase over 70 Caribbean artists, jewelers, craftspeople and food vendors. SCLS's cash bar will also be available all day.
A special addition to this season's event is a performance by Jamesie and The Allstars will entertain and there will be additional performances by St. Croix's young and talented musicians and dancers. There will also be a number of local crafters and artisans, who will demonstrate their talents. Tickets will be sold at the door; admission fees are $5 per person, and children under 12-years old are free.
Other unique opportunities throughout the day will include art demonstrations, storytelling, an open house of the SCLS Research Library and Archives between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., tours of the Whim Greathouse, self-guided tours of the Whim Grounds, shopping in the Museum Gift Shop and a special cash raffle.
