Feb. 27, 2009 – The Virgin Islands Housing Authority offers a free GED program for public housing residents, funded by the V.I. Department of Education and conducted in the following communities on St. Thomas:
· Oswald Harris Court
· Estate Tutu Hi-Rise
· Michael J. Kirwan Terrace
The class will be held four days per week for six weeks starting at 5 p.m., at Kirwan Terrace, It will be held at 5:30 p.m., at Oswald Harris Court and at 6 p.m., at Estate Tutu Hi-Rise.
Registration forms can be found at each community's management office or at the VIHA Central Office located in Estate Anna's Retreat. To register, a completed registration form must be submitted to the management office of the community where the participant would like to attend the program or to VIHA's Central Office to the attention of the Department of Public Relations/Resident Services.
