CCT Presents Four More Performances of 'Evita'

Feb. 19, 2009 – There will be four more performances of Caribbean Community Theatre will present four more performances of "Evita," the award-winning rock musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, at 8 p.m., on Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 20-21 and 27-28. The musical explores the life of Eva Duarte, who rose from youthful obscurity to worldwide fame as the charismatic and politically influential wife of Argentina's president, Juan Peron.
All performances will be held at the Caribbean Community Theatre, No. 18 Estate Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix. Many tickets for this popular production have been pre-sold, but there are still some seats available for this Friday and for the final weekend. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. No children under age 10 will be admitted.
The project is jointly supported by a grant from the V.I. Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
