Brief: Power Interruption Planned in Long Bay Area

Feb. 11, 2009 — Power will be interrupted from 4 to 6 a.m. Thursday in the Long Bay, Paul M. Pearson Garden and Havensight areas as the V.I. Water and Power Authority transfers a section of Feeder 10 B from overhead primary lines to an underground primary system to accommodate the widening necessary for the Long Bay/Centerline Road federal highway project.
"WAPA apologizes for any inconvenience this service interruption may cause," according to a news release. "The authority appreciates the patience of its customers during this service-enhancement effort."
