Professional Series Presents 'Creating Web Sites that Work'

Feb. 10, 2009 – MLB Creative, a member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF-USVI), will host speaker Gary Gilmore, who will talk on Making Your Web Design Work, design tips from trendy to practical. It will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 13, at Room with a View, Bluebeard's Castle.
Every day more and more consumers of all ages and walks of life are turning to the Internet to research, blog and buy. A good Web site is the greatest track-able tool in the marketing arsenal, one of the few that can prove it's working. Interactive work is no longer just a novelty, but, more than ever, a driving force in creating an integrated marketing campaign.
Whether you are a creative, a programmer or a client you'll want to be there as Gary Gilmore gives us a fresh look at hyperactive flash Web sites, brochure sites, and "traditional" sites that drive information to the customer and make advertising even smarter. Gary Gilmore is the acclaimed creative director of Interactive at Access, an advertising agency in Roanoke, Virginia.
The cost for members is $25 for the speaker and lunch; the cost for non-members, $30. Members can bring a non-member as a guest under their member rate. RSVP: Tarah@mlbcreative.com or call 774-8478.
