Emil Tranberg Dies at 98

Feb. 4, 2009 – Emil Tranberg, also known as "Milo," of Mt. Washington died on Jan. 30, at his residence. He was 98 years old.
He is survived by his brothers: Otto and Johnny Tranberg; daughters: Adlen Tranberg Martinez, Elonaro Tranberg and Molly Tillman; son, Svend Tranberg; son-in-law, Antonio Martinez; grandchildren: Chad Martinez, Geminise Johnson, Maricia Williams, Dean Mathews, William Henry Jr., Debbie, Gregory, Anthony, Edgar Tillman, Svend David, Nicole and Ian Tranberg; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by close friends: Josephine Bennerson, Owen and Carol Johnson, Luis Davilla and Cyril Williams; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 6, at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Frederiksted. Interment will follow at the Frederiksted Cemetery.
