BIR: Cost of Copies of Tax Returns Increases

Jan. 15, 2009 – The Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue advises taxpayers that, effective immediately, the cost of a copy of an income tax return has increased to $57. The cost of copies of local tax returns has also increased. The cost of copying less than three returns is $57. The cost of copying three or more returns for a tax year is $114, according to a press release from BIR.
Form 4506 – Request for Copy of Tax Return must be filled out and turned into the bureau's office to obtain copies of tax returns. This form is available at all BIR offices.
