Jan. 14, 2008 – The University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center will be offering an Intro to Therapeutic Massage course. The hands-on course will provide students with an opportunity to explore the benefits of massage therapy as a way to de-stress or as therapeutic treatment. They will learn the basics of anatomy, kinesiology, aromatherapy and various forms of massage.
Classes will be held from 6-9 p.m., on Mondays and Wednesdays, starting Feb. 9, at the UVICELL Center in Frederiksted, St. Croix. Classes will be held from 6-9 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Feb. 24, at the UVICELL Center on St. Thomas.
