St. Thomas Synagogue Plans February Silent Auction

Jan. 10, 2009 – The St. Thomas Synagogue will hold its 10th annual Antiques, Art and Collectibles Auction at noon, Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Antilles School's MCM Center.
Previews will be held from 3-5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, and 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Feb. 8. Sale tables will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
A silent auction of 70-plus selected items will open at 3 p.m. Saturday and close at 3 p.m., Sunday. Items will include jewelry, collectibles, trips, old stamps, services and other treasures.
Proceeds will help maintain the 176-year-old synagogue, a national historic monument, and keep it open to visitors. About 10,000 people visit the synagogue each year.
