May 13, 2009 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, May 17. This Sunday, we will feature music by Stewart Mann and the Statesboro Revue, Michelle Malone, Mudcrutch, Stevie Wonder, Deanna Bogart, the Nighthawks and more.
The Indie Spotlight CD is the self-titled CD from an exciting Americana band, Stewart Mann and the Statesboro Revue.
We play new music from Terri Hendrix, Slaid Cleaves, Michelle Malone, the Nighthawks, Naomi Sommers, Los Straitjackets and more.
We also play music from Eddy the Chief Clearwater, Irma Thomas, Lisa Loeb, Mudcrutch, Stevie Wonder and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Jesse Winchester, Taj Mahal, and Ira Tucker of the Dixie Hummingbirds.
We include music from Deanna Bogart, who will be the headline performer at the 2010 St. John Blues Festival.
We give away CDs from singer-songwriters Celeste Krenz and Freebo, and give away a CD from blues vocalist Shemekia Copeland and the roots-rocking Jim O'Ferrell Band.
