Yacht Haven Grande Plans Halloween Festivities

Yacht Haven Grande is sponsoring a "Trick-or-Treat So Others May Eat," which will begin at 5 p.m., on Halloween, Oct. 31. The first 300 children (ages 12 and under) with the donation of a non-perishable food item will receive a free, starter treat bag. The bags can be used to trick-or-treat at participating Yacht Haven Grande stores until 7 p.m. All non-perishable food items donated will be given to the Bethlehem House Shelters for the Homeless.
Other activities for the family between 5-7 p.m. will include Halloween music and dancing in the Esplanade (next to the Fat Turtle), games, prizes and much more. A Kid's Costume Contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Esplanade. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream will be offering a scoop of ice cream for $2 for kids in costumes.
"Halloween Fat Turtle-Style" invites adults to a late night Halloween party at Fat Turtle from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. DJ Peter C will be rocking the night away, and Heineken and Heineken Premium Light will be featured for $2. An adult costume contest will be judged at midnight, and the best costume will receive $250 in Yacht Haven Grande $$. Three runners-up will each receive $100 in Yacht Haven Grande $$.
