The Forum and Reichhold Present The Three Tenors

Oct. 13, 2008 – The Forum will present The Three Tenors at Reichhold Center for the Arts at 8 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 25. Cook, Dixon and Young, formerly known as Three Mo' Tenors, broke through when they performed twice on PBS (Public Broadcasting System).
Each of them has had a career as a solo artist before they joined their powerful voices. Victor Trent, counter tenor, has performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, at the White House, the Kennedy Center, and Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.
Roderick Dixon, lyric tenor, has appeared in concert in roles that included opera, oratorio, musical theatre and television.
Thomas Young, also a lyric tenor, is a Grammy Award winner and a tenured professor at Sarah Lawrence College. He has appeared as a principal soloist in 20 countries.
The trio has a range that includes jazz, opera, spirituals, Broadway songs, soul and pop music.
"They hit those C's in opera, belt out Broadway tunes, bend and scat notes in jazz, and stir your soul with haunting gospel." – Broadway to Vegas
Tickets are $80, $55, $45 and $25. They can be purchased at Dockside Bookshop, Interiors in Fort Mylner, Home Again in Red Hook, or by calling the Reichhold Center box office at 693-1559.
