Sept. 4, 2008 — Police found a 39-year-old man dead near Jah Yard in Hospital Ground Wednesday night from multiple gunshot wounds with his hands tied behind his back.
The victim, Richard Walker, was not a resident of Hospital Ground but was known to frequent the area of Jah Yard, according to a statement from the V.I. Police Department.
Police were summoned to the scene about 10 p.m., where they found Walker lying face down. Emergency medical technicians pronounced him dead.
Police are asking anyone who has information on this homicide to call the Investigation Bureau at 340-715-5554, the chief's office at 340-715-5548, or 911.
