April 17, 2008 – Lorne Granville James died on April 11, at the age of 52.
He is survived by his daughters: Afi M. James-Brown, Akua James and Aisha James;
son-in-law, Melvin L. Brown; and grandchildren: Kiayna Wallace, Daron Smith Jr., Nyla S. Brown and Naya S. Brown. He is also survived by aunt, Sylvia Petersen-Cooper; brother, Ambrose James; close friends: Lisa Magrass, Michelle Thurland-Martinez, Jose Martinez, Pat Welcome and Suzette Bough-James; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Thursday, April 24, at St. John's Anglican Church. It will be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
