April 16, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, April 20. This Sunday we will feature music by Jackson Browne, Owen Temple, The Waybacks, Rosie Ledet, Willie Nelson, Mimi Farina and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Solo Acoustic Volume 2" by Jackson Browne. Jackson Browne now has formed his own label, and this new release features acoustic renditions of Browne compositions including some of his hits.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Two Thousand Miles" by Texas-Americana artist Owen Temple. It was produced by Lloyd Maines, and Terri Hendrix does backup vocals on a few of the tracks.
We play new music from Steve Dawson, The Waybacks, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, and more.
We also play music from Willie Nelson, Cassandra Wilson, Rosie Ledet, Irma Thomas, Sugar Ray and the Bluetones, and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Mimi Farina, Gary Primich, Deb Pasternak, Cowboy Roy Brown and Johnny Tillotson. We remember blues-artist Johnny Shines on the anniversary of his death.

We give away a collectible Alison Krauss radio special and a Robert Plant and Alison Krauss single. We also give away a greatest hits collection from jazz vocalist Diana Krall and a CD from singer-songwriter Jeff Talmadge.
