April 11, 2008 – Randolph Akins, better known as "Bucky the Mechanic," of Frydendahl died on March 31, at his residence. He was 62 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Ann Ludvig; father, George Akins; brothers: Ray Akins and Stanley Ludvig; and sisters: Debra and Adrianna Akins. He is also survived by aunt, Gladys James; nephew, Robert; cousins: Wilbert, Orville and Ellen James, Juella Francis, Joan McFarlene, Linda, Lucien and Lindell Akins, Lynette, Charlene and Hubert Fleming and Noel Donastorg; special friend, Raymond George; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., on Wednesday, April 16, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the chapel. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
