Dear Source:
I find Mr. Craft's insinuations against those that testified in front of the senate troubling. Particularly disturbing is his verbal assault on Dr. Sekou. What he ascribes in his diatribe is a brand of right wing indoctrination disguised as being "fair and balance", just like the supposed news channel that uses that same monniker. To assume that the Virgin Islanders can't give an accurate portrayal of their own history is not only insulting but alarming.
Then he tries to take Dr. Sekou to task about his own personal political feelings. In his response Dr. Sekou is right about what he says that it is better to know exactly where one stands. I have known Dr. Sekou for many years and although I may not always agree with everything he writes, I do respect him and his exemplary knowledge of Caribbean history. Maybe Mr. Craft will be good enough to enlighten us on his vast knowledge of our history.
