Sept. 7, 2007 – Henrietta Walters Allamby of Ross Taarnenberg, who was better known as "Hennie," died on Sept. 3, at Massac Nursing Home. She was 92 years old.
She is survived by her son, Albert Allamby; daughters: Florence King, Jean Norris, Janet and Carol Allamby, and Urline Lettsome; and sons-in-law: Rupert Norris and Joseph Letttsome. Other survivors include 25 grandchildren, 35 great- grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9-9:45 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 2.
