Special Nutrition Announces Availability of School Meal Programs

Aug. 31, 2007 – The following are the federally funded School Meal Programs, according to a press release from Elodia Weekly, state director for the V.I. Department of Education’s Office of Special Nutrition Programs.
(1) National School Lunch Program
(2) School Breakfast Program
(3) At-risk After School Snack Program
(4) Special Milk Program
Interested public or non-profit private educational units of high school grades or under that are recognized as part of the educational system in the state or public or non-profit residential child care institution may contact Special Nutrition Programs at 774-9373.
