Samuel Chapman Dies at 99

Aug. 29, 2007 – Samuel Chapman of Altona, known as "Tanny," died on Aug. 28, at his residence. He was 99 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Delta Chapman; sons: Robert, Walsworth, Kenneth, and Samuel Chapman Jr., and Dennis Farrington; daughter, Sylvia Chapman; and sister, Albena Buncome. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 7, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a Memorial Service for Samuel Chapman at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
All arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
