Aug. 29, 2007 – Austin Francis Jr. of Anna's Retreat, better known as "Chucky," died on Aug. 22, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. He was 30 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Stephony Francis-Bastian; father, Austin Francis Sr.; son, Austin Francis III; stepfather, Haidane Bastian Sr.; brothers: Michael, Mitchell and Troy Francis; sisters: Melony and Tracy Francis; and special niece, Jenelle Francis. He is also survived by adopted mother, Minerva Harrigan-Anthony; aunts: Melsada Romney, Erica and Wistaria Donovan, Angelica Smith, Alpha Robinson, Helen Phillips, Jennifer Bertie, Claudette Francis and Debra Jarvis; uncles: Romeo, Alchardieo and Fernando Cameron, Neville and Kenneth Francis, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 6-8 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 1, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held from 8:30-10 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 2, at Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church. It will be followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
