Aug. 28, 2007 – Can you pop-lock, do the electric boogalloo or break dance? Then enter the Reichhold Center for the Arts' Break Dance contest, open to groups or individuals ages 12 through 17.
The deadline for entry forms is Sept. 14, and preliminary judging is Sept. 28, at Reichhold. The contest will be held on Oct. 6, at Tutu Park Mall. Prizes will be awarded to the finalists.
The winner will dance on stage during the Reichhold Center's performance of "Break! The Urban Funk Spectacular" at 8 p.m., on Oct. 6. For more information and contest entry forms call the center at 693-1550.
