Creating Opportunities to Embrace Local Talent

Dear Source:
Congratulations to First Express for their commitment and support to the Crucian Summer Star Event. Creating opportunities in the lives of young talented ladies is a forum geared towards their growth, enrichment and of course achievement of their goals. My previous experience in the broadcast industry, I can honestly say that I like the idea of producing a recording. This is an excellent way to introduce talent to the media especially the recording companies and radio stations.
Additionally, I would like to commend the talented young woman who decided to take part in this Summer Star event. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that the private sector and the community are working together creating opportunities for local talented ladies who are posed for great success. Activities like this assists in preventing drug abuse and pregnancy among youth by developing self-esteem and confidence, which is essential for the positive development of young ladies and success in all aspects of their lives.
On a personal note several years ago I meet Ms. Chantal Harrigan at the Educational Complex when we scooting for a local talent to perform at the opening ceremony for the "Teens on the Green Parade". Ms. Harrigan posses pronominal talent and has traveled abroad sharing her talent at the same time positively representing our St. Croix community.
