The American Legion's Viggo E. Sewer Post 131 of St John will hold a meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at Sputnik’s in Coral Bay.
At the meeting, all members of the post, all veterans and interested persons can obtain information on the offerings of the VA clinic and service center on St Thomas. In attendance will be Morris Morehead, Director of Veteran’s Affairs for the Virgin Islands, and Juliette Millin, Social Services Director for the VA in the Virgin Islands.
Among the issues to be discussed: veterans' benefits; social services; future of the VA clinic; registration of veteran and any issues veterans may have about quality health care for both St. Thomas and St. John veterans.
