Woodson Jr. H.S. Students Reminded of School Uniform Policy

Aug. 14, 2007 – The John H. Woodson Junior High School advises new, transfer, and returning students of the school's student uniform policy. Students are to be dressed in proper school uniform when attending orientation sessions and classes during the upcoming 2007-2008 school year, according to a press release from Principal Vaughn Hewitt.
The John H. Woodson Junior High School student uniform policy is as follows:
Girls
Skirts: accordion pleated, no shorter than knee-length with no designs, yokes, bibs, gathers wraps, splits or skorts
Blouse: white, pull-over or short sleeved cotton, buttoned down at the front with a collar
Shoes: black, white or maroon
Socks: white
Jewelry: one (1) small pair of earrings, one (1) small chain, and one (1) watch allowed
Hair: well groomed; no caps or hats.
Boys
Pants: long maroon pants, not to exceed tops of shoes; no extra embroidered or printed designs, cargo or oversized pants will be allowed
Shirts: white, pull-over or short sleeved cotton shirt, buttoned down at the front with a collar
Shoes/Sneakers: black, white or maroon
Jewelry: one (1) earring, one (1) small chain and one (1) watch allowed
Hair: well groomed; no caps or hats.
