What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

July 2, 2007 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, July 8. This Sunday we will feature music by Bebel Gilberto, The Brains Behind Pa, Koko Taylor, Savoy Brown, Nathan and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Momento" by Brazilian vocalist Bebel Gilberto, who mixes her Latin roots with American pop jazz. She is the daughter of the legendary Joao Gilberto and has a fine voice. This is a great CD to sit back and listen to, with a bottle of fine wine and someone you love.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Better for the Deal" by The Brains Behind Pa. This group, which certainly has chosen an original name, features an Americana sound and is lead by the talented songwriter Bill Price.
We play new music from Nathan, Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem, Koko Taylor, Susan Werner and more.
We also include music from Marty Stuart, B.B. King, the Dave Clark Five, Savoy Brown, Rhonda Vincent and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Jai Johanny Johannson of the Allman Brothers Band and jump blues artist Louis Jordan.

We give away a CD from roots Americana band, Burrito Deluxe, who are an offshoot band from the Flying Burrito Brothers. We also give away the award-winning release from Canadian alt country artist Corb Lund.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and by St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
