Library Hosts Series of Summer Reading Clinics

June 20, 2007 – The Enid M. Baa Public Library will host a series of weeklong summer reading clinics, according to a press release from The Department of Planning and Natural Resources
With the theme Plot, the objective of these clinics is to reinforce a student's recognition of plot, setting and character within the text, and increase their ability to compare and contrast these elements between texts. Clinics will be available for children in grades 1-12.
Grades 1-3 July 9-13; Grades 4-6 July 16-20; Grades 7-8 July 23-27; Grades 9-12 July 30-August 3. The programs will be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
In order to prepare for this summer camp, the library will be closed on Saturday, June 23. Normal weekend hours will resume on Saturday, June 30.
