Culture, Discipline and Change

Dear Source:

I really liked this article — thanks.
I'm a Project Manager in higher education as well as an avocational lover of anthropology. I find your use of "culture" to be insightful and applicable in your final paragraph. Culture is that sum of learned advantages that we create in order to adapt to our surroundings — hence many different cultures. When you say, "Discipline and culture are inseparable in implementing change" you are right on. In fact discipline is the learned behavior (culture) for implementing change.
Thanks, this was a nice Sunday morning read, in Boston wishing I was in St. Thomas.
