Olympic Day Run at UVI Campus Welcomes All

June 13, 2007 – The Virgin Islands Olympic Committee, The V.I. Pace Runners and the V.I. Track and Field Federation invite all, regardless of athletic ability, to participate in the 21st Annual Olympic Day Run. It will be held at 5 p.m., on June 23, at the UVI St. Croix Campus.
This 2-mile run is hosted by the UVI Extension Service-4H Program and will be run around the campus. Medals to the top male and female finishers will be provided along with special Olympic certificates and pins, and each participant will receive a special Olympic Day T-shirt. All of the Olympic Committee Sports Federations are urged to send participants.
