CBC to Have Fishing Tournament
The Committee for the Betterment of Carenage Inc. (CBC) has set Sunday, June 10, as the date for the annual pre-Father's Day fishing tournament in Frenchtown, St. Thomas. The event is a prelude to the three-day weekend celebration, which will run from June 15-17.
A top prize of $2,000 cash will be awarded to the angler who catches the largest qualifying fish, and many other prizes will be given in various categories.
Registration takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on June 9, near the concession stand at the Joseph Aubain Ball Park in Frenchtown. There is a $25 registration fee per angler.
