May 24, 2007 – The St. Thomas/St. John Golf Association, in conjunction with the Mahogany Run Golf Course, will host the 2007 Hugh Smith Open Golf Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3, at Mahogany Run Golf Course. It is open to the first 75 paid golfers with valid handicaps.
The $125 tournament fee covers 36 holes of golf, the cocktail party and an awards banquet. There will be men's "A" and "B" flights, a ladies' "C" flight and a combined men's and ladies' "Stableford" flight for handicaps over 23. There will be a "shot gun" start at 8:30 a.m. each day.
