Sandra Bastian-Carty Seeks to Be a Delegate

May 21, 2007 — My goal as a committed Native Crucian is to assist in the drafting of a document that will be beneficial to all Virgin Islands and identify and include inherent rights to all Native Virgin Islanders, who are presently in-dangered of becoming an extincted people. May goal is that this document will truly make our islands truly an American Paradise.
I would hope that we first divine who is a Native Virgin Islander and then review the enter Organic Act, make changes and add where necessary.
I am truly optimistic that the Fifth Constitutional Convention will be successful in meeting our goals and will be passed by the President of the United States, Congress and the People of these Virgin Islanders for the betterment of all Virgin Islands.
I have no personal agenda but enter with an open mind listening to issues presented, evaluating, asking God to give me an abundance of wisdom, judgment and understanding in order that I may debate issues with a clear conscience.
