Brief: Water Service to Kinghill Area Set for Interruption Saturday

May 18, 2007 — Water service to the Kingshill area will be interrupted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, according to a news release from the V.I. Water and Power Authority.
Water personnel will replace a defective 12-inch valve under the traffic light at the intersection of Central High School and the Kingshill Cemetery. The service interruption will affect Aureo Diaz and Candido Guadalupe housing communities, Castle Burke homes, the Territorial Court, the section of Clifton Hill across from Central High School and areas surrounding the Ville La Reine Shopping Center, according to the news release.
WAPA urges motorists to exercise caution as they travel through these areas and to obey traffic directions. "The authority apologizes for any inconvenience that may occur as a result of these repairs and will make every effort to complete the work as soon as possible," the news release said.
