Animal Welfare Center Is Sponsoring a Poster Contest

March 15, 2007 – The St. Croix Animal Welfare Center is sponsoring a poster contest to coincide with "Be Kind to Animals" week May 6-12.
Students are to draw a picture on 8"x12" paper – available from the Shelter – illustrating the student taking care of a pet. Activities such as taking the animals out for play and exercise, bathing and grooming, giving their pets fresh water and food, etc.
The student should write his or her name, school and grade on the back of the drawing.
Winners will be announced in the newspapers, and prizes will be given at an awards presentation ceremony, date to be announced.
The deadline for all entries is April 12. All entries will become the property of the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center.
