The Caribbean Writer to Celebrate Its 20th Anniversay
The Caribbean Writer, an international literary anthology published in the summer of each year by the University of the Virgin Islands, will commemorate its 20th Anniversary milestone at a celebratory event scheduled for 6 p.m., on Monday, March 19, in the Great Hall (northwest wing conference rooms) on the St. Croix Campus. The event will include readings by past prize winners of The Caribbean Writer and reflections on the initial vision, early years and the scope of the anthology's success by founding editor, Erika J. Waters, Ph.D., as well as comments by current editor Marvin E. Williams. The featured guest speaker will be Opal Palmer Adisa, Ph.D.
