Feb. 13, 2007 – Robert Warrenton Gumbs of Estate Tutu died on Feb. 4, at the age of 56.
He is survived by his mother, Orilda Roberts; sons: Robert Jr. and Kymo Gumbs; daughters: Kysha Gumbs Shaw, and Ashaki, Kenya, Nykyah and Aswana Gumbs. He is also survived by brothers: Louis Henley, and Joseph and Bernard Gumbs; sisters: Carol and Delta Gumbs, and Sandra Roberts James; grandchildren: Na'Shaun Richardson, J'Nae O'Neal, and Z'Quan Steeps; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will be held from 7:30-9 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 15, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a second viewing from 8-9 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 16, at Wesley Methodist Church followed by a funeral service at 9 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
