Hibiscus Society to Hold Annual Show

Feb. 12, 2007 – At its annual social and regular meeting of the Hibiscus Society held on Jan. 14, it was announced that the annual St. Thomas Hibiscus Society Show would be held on Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Enid Baa Public Library. It will feature blooms from St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix and the British Virgin Islands.
The Society also granted honorary lifetime membership to three outstanding members. The certificates were awarded to Austin “Babe” Monsanto, Angie Penn and Nina Corneiro.
New members are always welcome and can join by calling Mario Francis at 774-3745. Anyone interested in participating at the show can contact Katina Coulianos-Sell, show coordinator, at 776-8686.
