UVICELL To Host OSHA Conference for V.I. Employers
The Second Annual Governor's Occupational Safety and Health Conference will provide information on improving the safety and health conditions of public and private workplaces. It will be held Feb. 12-16, at the Marriott's Frenchman's Reef Resort. The free conference will provide employers with strategies for reducing workers compensation costs.
Expert instructors from the U.S. Labor Department's OSHA office will address a variety of topics, such as laboratory safety, the Incident Command System and a host of training sessions devoted to safety issues for specific industries.
