Black History Month to Be Celebrated by Friends of Library
The Friends of the Elaine I. Sprauve Library will celebrate the life of legendary baseball icon Jackie Robinson during Black History Month when Jackie Robinson's daughter, Sharon Robinson, will visit St. John on Feb. 14-15, to speak to school groups, Friends of the Library members and other guests.
Robinson will attend the library's weekly Children's Story Hour for pre-schoolers from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., on Thursday, Feb. 15.
