Constitution 2008 Will Hold St. John Forum
The University of the Virgin Islands will host the St. John community's first public forum on the Constitution 2008 public education campaign being conducted in support of the territory’s fifth V.I. constitutional convention, entitled “Constitution 2008: Come Hear; Come Share.” It will take place at 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Westin Resort.
All are invited to attend and participate in an exciting exchange on pertinent issues that will be part of the convention when it opens in July 2007. A distinguished panel will lead the open discussion, and a reception will follow.
For more information on the project, visit the university's Web site: www.itsourfuture.vi. A program on Constitution 2008 will air at 7 p.m., every Tuesday, on WTJX Public Television Channel 12.
