What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Jan. 23, 2007 – The Modern Music Feature CD is "18 Singles" by U2. If you want the cream of the cream of U2's great repertoire of music this is a very fine collection with a couple of new tracks included on this release.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Dancin in the Moonlight," the latest release from Orleans. Orleans is a terrific pop-rock group that will be coming to the Virgin Islands and performing at Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas on Feb. 17. The proceeds from the concert will be given to the Nana Baby Home. It is sponsored by Rotary and is great music for a great cause.
We play new music from Kim and Reggie Harris, Mary McCaslin, Cleveland Fats and more.
We include music from Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, the Chambers Brothers, Chicago, Bob Nelson and more.
We celebrate the birthday of Brian Keenan of the Chambers Brothers and remember Jim Capaldi of Traffic on the anniversary of his death. Capaldi played on St. Thomas a number of years ago in a concert with Dave Mason.
We also include music from Dick Solberg, who plays at Latitude 18 and some other venues through March. We also include music from the Hank Hankshaw Band, which is playing in the Virgin Islands from Jan. 17-29, at various venues.
We give you a chance to win a CD from blues artist Walter Trout, an EP from Kenny White (who has played on St. Croix) and a CD from Jill Sobule.
