Seminar on Bird Flu Concerns Will Be Held
The Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture in conjunction with UVI Cooperative Extension Service will be holding a series of public information seminars entitled "Bird Flu Concerns for the Virgin Islands" for anyone working with or interested in birds. It will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 30, at SBDC Training Center, Nisky Center, St. Thomas.
This seminar will focus on what avian influenza is, how it affects domestic and wild birds, how it could effect the V.I. and other topics.
