Dear Source:
I can understand your frustration, but your insurance company may realize that the "inspection" at Motor Vehicles is no inspection at all. That has been my experience. They just look at the car and sign off. Meanwhile, people come into the office with fistfuls of paperwork and cash and walk out with the documents–I would be willing to bet many of those vehicles couldn't make it to the DMV. With this "service," why have "inspections" at all? It is not only a joke; it is an insult. Perhaps you should change insurance companies. Good luck.
