Dober Elementary Will Dismiss Early on Jan. 22

Jan. 18, 2007 – The Leonard Dober Elementary School will dismiss students early at 2 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 22. They will be dismissed early in order to facilitate the monthly faculty and staff professional development meeting, according to a release from Carla Sarauw, principal.
"Our faculty and staff meetings and professional development sessions are geared toward activities that cannot be addressed during the regular school day. There is much to be discussed relative to teachers' roles in writing the 2007-2008 School Improvement Plans (SIP), the Stanford Diagnostic Mathematics Tests (SDMT) scores, and discussions of improved strategies on using data to drive individualized instruction for the remainder of the school year," said Sarauw.
Parents are asked to pick up their children on time.
