Jan. 16, 2007 – Bernard Morton, better known as "Sally," of Frenchman's Bay died on Jan. 11, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. He was 52 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Morton; sons: Travis, Kennedy, Ashburn, Stewart and Phil Morton; and daughters: Vilia and Georja Morton. He is also survived by adopted daughter, Chantel Monsanto; brothers: Bernell and Bayd Brookes; and sisters: Phyllis Friday, Audrey Hughes and Arlette Howell. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 9-10 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 19, at Wesley Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Smith Bay Cemetery.
