Literacy Through the Arts to Sponsor Panel Discussion
Promoting Literacy Through the Arts (PLTTA), an after-school program sponsored by St. Croix Library Association and Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts, will be hosting a panel discussion on "Entrepreneurship and the Arts" at 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at CMCArts located (10 Strand St., downtown Frederiksted).
The panel presenters will include:1. Peter Booth, former senior vice president of Corning & Entrepreneur; Ivan Butcher, art educator/artist and president of The Butcher Shop Cut to Your Taste: Custom Design & Art Services; Johanna Bermudez Ruiz, independent filmmaker; and Rick Carrington, director of CHANT (Crucian Heritage And Nature Tourism)
