Pistarckle Theater Presents December Productions

Nov. 26, 2006 – "Madeline's Christmas," a musical, will open at 7 p.m., on Nov. 30. It will be a pay as you can night.
This is the classic story about Madeline, a girl who's not afraid of anything. Many little girls grew up with the Madeline stories about "twelve little girls in two straight lines," who live in an ivy covered house in Paris with Miss Clavel, their governess, at a boarding school in France. When every girl at the school gets sick just before Christmas it falls to the intrepid Madeline and a special miracle to get everyone home in time for the holidays. Children and their families will love this ageless, magical story celebrating the miracle of Christmas.
The performances will be held on Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 8, 9, 15, and 16, at 7 p.m., and on Dec. 2, 9, and 16, at 2 p.m.
On opening night, Friday, Dec. 1, Pistarckle Theater will donate a portion of its ticket sales to Nana Babies. The ticket price is $30 and the proceeds will help an organization that really needs support at this time.
Also coming is a very special reading of Clarence Cuthbertson's new play "Dear Peter, Dear Anna." It will be held on one night only at 7 p.m., on Dec. 6. It is the story of the twenty-year relationship between Virgin Island's Gov. Peter von Sholten and the "free colored" Anna Heegard.
To reserve tickets for the Nana Baby fundraiser or other performances call 775-7877.
